Rules For Film Submissions

For entry, preview submissions may be on DVD (NTSC is preferred). Festival exhibition is by video projection only. All submission media should be clearly marked with title, WAB tracking # IF APPLICABLE, total running time and email address.

DO NOT mail or ship your entry by any method that requires a signature on our end.

Additional packaging tips: Plastic jewel-cases often crack in shipping. The festival as part of our entry organization system will discard most promotional packaging and materials. Because we are very committed to being as “GREEN” as possible, we would love if you could upload your film securely online and have digital press kits. WAB’s secure online screeners & press kits work very well for this process. Clearly mark your tracking number on everything, especially on disks; and include your tracking number in any email correspondence.

Please ensure if you are submitting a film that contains copyrighted material by anyone other than yourself, that you have obtained festival clearance for that material used. By entering your work, you agree to this and the responsibilities involved.

Films screened in the festival should be presented in English. For all dialogues presented in other languages, the festival will accept subtitling and/or dubbing. Music videos may contain lyrics in foreign languages without translation.

All successful applicants will be notified by August 5th, 2010.

Because we are very committed to being as “GREEN” as possible, If you have any online website hosting of your music this can serve in place of your CD.

All successful applicants will be notified on a rolling basis after submission is registered, processed and reviewed. Final announcement will be made later then August 5th, 2010.

All Musical Artists & Films selected for the festival are automatically entered into competition for a variety of honors and prizes awarded by the festival organizers, jurors and audience. Thank you for submitting to our festival! Good Luck!

Indemnification rules

The Atlantic City International Film and Music Festival along with its partners are hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any music submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.

The individual or corporation submitting the music hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the music selections for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless The Atlantic City International Film and Music Festival & Partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. Please do not send original recordings for submission purposes, as they will not be returned.
